Cwm Idwal in the Snowdonia mountains of North Wales is one of my favorite places in the world — rocky, golden, spare and sparse but with a deeply spiritual quietude about it. Here I am just coming down from the summit of Glyder Fach into the cwm below, with its sapphire jewel of Lynn (lake) Idwal.
