Two climbers down from the summit, with Sahale Arm and the vast wall of Johannisberg behind them, in North Cascades National Park. I call it "Youth" because it is a self-portrait from long ago with an old companion of the mountains -- and because of the sense it gives of unlimited potential, confidence, and freedom.
