Cascade Pass is a very lovely and popular spot in the southern section of North Cascades National Park. Here we are looking east down the classic U-shaped valley of the Stehekin River.

NOTE I am not terribly happy with the photo of this painting. Though I worked a long time on it I couldn’t get the colors quite right, nor the sense of brilliance. Come see the original yourself if you’re in the area!
